Tammy Marie Imholt, 44, to be arraigned August 4
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A visitor from out of town was chased down and stabbed by a lady in Portland’s Previous City community on Monday afternoon, according to Multnomah County court documents.
Tammy Marie Imholt, 44, was arrested pursuing the assault on a feminine visitor of the Hoxton Resort in the vicinity of the intersection of NW Couch Avenue and 3rd Avenue.
The victim informed officers with the Portland Police Bureau she was on a stroll and crossed the road to avoid Imholt who was reportedly yelling at her from the sidewalk. The possible trigger affidavit filed mentioned Imholt then ran following the girl, grabbed her by her hair and threw her down. Imholt then allegedly kicked and punched the victim a number of situations just before stabbing her with a cuticle nail trimmer.
A great samaritan noticed the attack and ran in to help the sufferer by shoving Imholt out of the way, according to court files. Imholt was subsequently tased by a responding officer following she refused to drop the nail trimmer used to stab the resort guest, police mentioned.
The sufferer was hospitalized with a possible liver laceration, according to the affidavit.
Imholt was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon — each felonies. She is scheduled to be arraigned on August 4.
